Product Exclusion

The Product Exclusion icon in the 'Your Campaigns' section takes you to the Product Exclusion window.

The Product Selection is implemented by excluding the products that are expected to attract less attention than others.

On the Product Exclusion window, you will notice a toggle button at the top right of the screen. By default, AI Mode is selected. This toggle button can be used to select either the Manual or AI Mode for Product Exclusion.

Let's learn about the two Modes of Product Exclusion:

1. AI Mode

AI Mode automatically excludes the products in a way that you get great ad results to meet your ROI Target.

‌We recommend using the AI Mode for Product Exclusion to get optimal ad results.

By default, the AI Mode is selected.

2. Manual Mode

Switching to Manual Mode allows you to manually exclude the products that you don't want to advertise.

To proceed with the Manual Mode for Product Exclusion, follow the following steps:

1. Select the Manual Mode using the Toggle Button. You will be prompted with a message to confirm the changes. Click on 'Yes, Change to Manual Mode' to proceed further.

2. Select the products you want to exclude. You can do this by clicking the checkbox given on each product.

3. You will see the total number of products excluded at the top of the Drawer.

4. Click on the 'Save' button to apply the changes.

Paytm PLA is driven by Machine Learning algorithms that compute the potential high-performing set of products and excludes the products based on this computation. This leads to optimal ad performance in line with your set CPC Bid or Target ROI.

Kindly note that switching to Manual Mode may not lead to optimal ad delivery and performance. We recommend using the AI Mode for Product Exclusion.
